Mindra · Last updated 24 July 2026

Mindra is a focus-timer app. This policy explains what data the app handles, why, and the choices you have. If you have questions, contact andriy.kachur.22333@gmail.com.

Using Mindra without an account

You can use Mindra without signing in. In that mode your focus sessions, notes, and preferences are stored only on your device and are never sent to our servers.

Account information

If you choose to sign in, we use Sign in with Apple. We store the account identifier Apple provides and the email address associated with it (which may be an Apple “Hide My Email” relay address if you chose to hide it). We use this only to identify your account and sync your data across your devices.

Data you create in the app

When you are signed in, the following is synced to and stored on our backend so it is available on your other devices:

Subscriptions and payments

Premium subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. Payments are handled entirely by Apple — we never receive or store your payment card or billing details. We only receive whether a subscription is active. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings.

Notifications

If you enable a daily reminder, it is scheduled locally on your device by the operating system. We do not send push notifications from a server.

Analytics and crash reporting

Mindra uses two third-party services to understand how the app is used and to find bugs. Both act as processors on our behalf, are bound to protect the data to the same standard described here, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

If you are signed in, these events are labelled with your account identifier so we can tell one person's sessions apart from another's and investigate a problem you report. No name, email address, note text or session note content is sent to either service. If you are not signed in, the events carry only a randomly generated device identifier.

Mindra contains no advertising, and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not use the device advertising identifier (IDFA), and we do not sell your data or share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Where your data is stored

Synced data is stored using Supabase, our hosting and database provider, acting on our behalf. Analytics and crash data are stored by PostHog and Sentry as described above.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your synced data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from inside the app: Profile → Delete account. Doing so immediately and permanently removes your account and everything attached to it — your focus sessions, notes and preferences — from our servers, revokes Mindra's Sign in with Apple authorisation, and clears the copy held on your device. It cannot be undone.

Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription, which is billed by Apple; cancel it in your Apple ID settings. If you would rather we did it for you, or you no longer have the app installed, email andriy.kachur.22333@gmail.com.

Analytics and crash reports are retained by PostHog and Sentry for their standard retention periods (up to 12 months) and are deleted at the end of them. To have analytics and crash records associated with your account removed sooner, email us at the address above.

Data stored only on your device is removed when you delete the app.

Children

Mindra is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Terms of Use

Mindra is licensed under Apple's standard End User License Agreement (apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula), which is also linked from the subscription screen in the app.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
